Upholstery for genius

Who would have thought that another way to use fabric material would be covering an inner tube?

The Drops Recycled Upholstery Chair is an amazing piece of art. Everything is recycled and designed by Camilla Hounsell Halvorsen a Norway-based furniture Designer. I love the idea, it seems so simple and so genius. Of course "simple" is not after all. I wonder how comfortable this is but here is some more info about it. All I can say is that I love it!!!

time to rest

it sure is for me, for us, for all the family. And so be it.. even if it's easier to say than done. There's sure a lot to do right now, but in between I'll find a pillow to rest on.

I'm pretty much in love with this ones by Tulu
I want to make some!

Love love love it! Reminds me of my dad and his work. Very similar in bright colors, their fabric, creativity in different design of models for pillows.. My dad rocks. I sure do miss him tuns already..

Design from Africa

Heather Moore at Skinny LaMinx is an illustrator, designer and cult blogger from South Africa. I just love her amazing work.
It has a somewhat of already seen here and there. Like some of her prints are inspirational from Orla Kiely which I really like. She even made a print with inspiration from her favorite IKEA things. I think this is awesome! And I absolutely love the kind of flowers she chose as main floral design, the same one I've used for our wedding invitations.

Her illustrations are amazing. My favorite is to see her work cutouts in paper and adhesive vinyl. Can you imagine how much work this is?? Love it!
